Reduced recoil means faster target aquisition
Be sure to install a lighter weight recoil spring in your firearm or you will not go to slide lock and have plenty of stove pipes. I shoot a Sig 229 40/357 that uses the factory Blue recoil spring, swapped that out with the White recoil spring that is meant for the 9mm and the gun cycles flawlessly with this ammo. I figure I can shave off a tenth of a second getting my sights back on target and in an 80 round match that would be an 8 second savings. Wow, it adds up quickly. I only gave 4 stars because the price is a little high. If they use less powder the should pass on the savings to the customer. Just a cheap man's opinion. Be safe and have fun.

Atlanta Arms .40 S&W 180 Grain Minor---Outstanding
Have fired over 8,500 rounds in last 4-5 years through M&P Pro 5 inch---includes practice, IDPA, USPSA and Steel Challenge. Just received my 10th case last week. Ammo runs flawlessly through 5 inch with factory 16 pd recoil spring. Had a few light primer strikes with last case. Striker spring may be getting weak. Ordered replacement striker assembly from Brownells.

Atlanta Arms .40 S&W 180 Grain Minor
The Atlanta Arms .40 S&W 180 grain Minor ammo that I received recently shoots very well, as does all of Atlanta Arms ammo, and the recoil is like a 9mm. I will be ordering this ammo again!

Competition ammo
Shoots perfect in my "experienced" pistols with less recoil, but it jams often in pistols not fully broken in.

Ammo works great for USPSA Production Division
This is the second case I've ordered this year and the product works flawlessly in my M&P 40 Pro. It is a very cost effective way to supplement my personal reloading when I get in a pinch for time.

40 s&w minor
Excellent for shooting steel competition. I use my 40 for USPSA and Steel. This company makes the best stuff for both challenges. I'm hooked and won't use anything else!!!
Thank you, Nick B.
