Just purchased a couple of boxes of this 100 gr Steel Challenge ammo to see what the fuss was about. Initial observations after 100 rounds:
1) Ran fine in my (near) stock Shadow 2s (I'll be more certain of this after a few thousand rounds).
2) Appreciably lower recoil than what I've been shooting.
3) Running the plate rack, measured an average of 0.05 seconds quicker per transition (sight picture returned noticeably quicker). Obviously all transitions are not created equal.
Until or unless an issue arises, I'll finish out my Steel season using this ammo. It's impossible not to take advantage of...an advantage. Thank you!

Great competition or recreational shooting round. Plenty accurate… plus the lowest recoil 9mm I have found anywhere… great for fast follow-up shots. Also very well suited for lighter pistols like my Glock 43. Doesn’t beat up my 64-year old wrist like more powerful FMJs. Can shoot 100+ rounds in a single outing with no I’ll effects.

Not worth increased cost.

Less recoil than standard 9mm FMJ. Cycled flawlessly in our Sig P365XLs but failed to cycle repeatedly for my wife in our Glock 17. I suspect her soft trigger action induced this. I had no issues at all with the same pistol. To conclude, at 60 cents a round it's a little pricy for me but unquestionably good ammo.

Your Steel Challenge 100 grain ammo does exactly what I had hoped it would do - make it possible for my wife to shoot a small 9 mm well for training. Thanks for making this excellent product. I've ordered more!

Unfortunately this particular round does not reliably cycle in my Glock 19 Gen 2. A spring change might help but I am not inclined to do so.

Great Steel Challenge ammo

Some of the best feeding most consistent ammo I’ve had the pleasure to use. I shoot several hundred round per week in my compact carry, 1911s, etc, and I could not be more pleased with the quality!

This ammo is amazing! Virtually no muzzle snap/recoil. I just shot it a Steel Challenge using my wife’s G34 (12# spring) and was in love!
I practiced a bit beforehand to re-familiarize myself with the lighter pistol and SRO (I usually shoot Limited/.40). I laughed out loud after the first round - I had never fired anything like it - soft recoil, yet solid and dependable cycling. Incredible ammo!
