This Classic Match 9mm 147GR Full Metal Jacket ammunition is manufactured to give you all the reliability you need for training or competition.

    147g Select

    I found this when there was an apparent shortage of my normal competition ammo (Federal 150g Syntech.) I have run it head to head with the 150g and cannot feel any difference. I have shot the same qualifier with both and the performance is essentially identical. Case head stamps are a variety so if you only reload "once-fired" that would be the only downside. I will not hesitate to buy it again.

    Premium and Elite ammo are sxcellant

    I practice with Premium ammo and shoot tournaments with Elite ammo.I shoot Nighthawk pistols which have tight tolerances . Both Premium and Elite perform flawlessly . Very pleased .

    Excellent

    This ammo really is a game changer. It feels so much softer than other 147 gr ammo, you cant beat this quality. A little pricey but worth it.

    Great All Around Minor Power Factor Round

    I'd have given 5-Stars but its my 1st 147Grn round for USPSA/IDPA to make minor PF. I'd buy it again.

    Bested Four Other Brands

    I am trying to improve my shooting and have come to the point that bullet weight makes a difference. I started with five brands of ammo in 9mm and systematically shot four weights from 115 grains to 147. For all brands, 147 grains with my Kimber Aegis was the best choice for me. I then narrowed things down to only 147grains and and added a subsonic round. This Atlanta Arms round gave me three rounds in a 1/2"bullseye standing, at 24 feet. I have ordered two other 147 grain loads from Atlanta to compare their performance and will add the second place round (less expensive) , American Eagle, to my final test--and then just settle in and hope to win bragging rights at the range.

    Barrel

    So I got the Bart-Sto barrel for my Sig 226. It has a 1:16 twist and doesn't group well. The factory 1:10 twist groups way nice and is soft shooting. The Elite ammo with hp doesn't group at all. But way soft shooting. The best groups are with the 124 grn Atlanta Ammo over the 147 grn in my gun. Tested 15 brands and weights and the 147 Atlanta is the best for 147 grn ammo. Will buy more

    Grouping

    Been testing all sorts of ammo including match from Atlanta and other Factories. This is the best combination of soft shooting and group size. Using a Sig factory barrel and will test same thru a Bar-Sto barrel I just got. Twist rates are way different so that will be the test for sure. This in Elite is good but a bit snappier and groups just na wee bit larger

    Recoil

    Shot this and love the soft shooting for sure. Groups size is not better and almost anything else. I have a a 1:10 barrel so maybe a 1:16 would be better. Trying to make this work as the recoil sets it apart from the rest. Ordered a Bar-Sto barrel and will try it again. did order more to test

    Chrono ammo.

    Ordered 8 boxes (400 rounds) to chrono for nationals. Picked 1 round from each box. Here are my readings from a Glock 34. OAT (outside air temperature 97 F.
